WOOLWORTHS’ NEW HQ COMPLETED IN BRISBANE TECHNOLOGY PARK
After an extensive search, supermarket giant Woolworths pre-committed to a 3300 sqm commercial building located in Brisbane Technology Park at 21 Brandl Street, Eight Mile Plains, in 2015. Major factors in the choice of location were the stand alone new office building facility and ease of staff accessibility.
JLL Graystone and Trapp Architects were the major parties involved in the transaction, with the project being reported as complex, as the land being developed consisted of two lots with two different owners.
Graystone has been intimately involved in the planning of the Brisbane Technology Park, having been appointed as Development Manager in 2001, and the delivery of most of the buildings. The developer has now acquired the remaining land on-site from the Queensland State Government and is planning a further 19 buildings in various configurations.
Office spaces up to 1500sqm are currently available for lease at the location.
